How To Help

WITH THE HUGE NUMBER OF CATS THAT WE HELP EACH WEEK FOOD AND LITTER ARE MAJOR EXPENSES.

MANY KIND PEOPLE COLLECT FOOD FOR US, EITHER BY BUYING AN EXTRA TIN EACH SHOPPING TRIP OR BY ACTING AS A COLLECTION CENTRE IN THEIR AREA

IF YOU HAVE UNWANTED COLLECTIBLES, JEWELLERY OR CERAMICS THAT ARE IN GOOD CONDITION WE MAY BE ABLE TO RAISE EXTRA FUNDS BY SELLING THEM ON E-BAY.

This year from the 1st Jan until 9th November, we have paid for 1018 veterinary treatments. Covering everything from Ear ops, scans, diabetic treatments, bloods, dentals, road traffic accidents, many of which were un neutered males that were wandering, air gun pellets op,  neutering, and much more.  All this has cost us a total of £51,339 just for veterinary fees alone, on top of which there is food, litter, flea and worm treatments, and other necessities that go with caring for the cats we look after. Being a registered charity, every “penny” has to be accounted for. We therefore constantly have to keep the donations, not only money, but goods for the shop and for fundraising events coming in from our kind supporters. We can always arrange for saleable items to be collected, although we cannot accept very large items of furniture, due to lack of storage space.

As with all non profit making groups we need cash. You can donate, leave a legacy or join us.

FRIENDS can help with the day to day running costs of looking after the poorly cats. For a small ANNUAL fee you will receive 3 newsletters per year and know that local cats are benefitting.
Under 16's or over 60's £5
single adults £8
families £15

FOSTER CARE SUPPORTERS make a MONTHLY donation, or it can be given in a lump sum annually. You will also receive 3 newsletters per year.
help with food & litter £3
routine vet charges £5
larger operations at vet £10

You can make your donations with Jenny on 01522-788597 or complete the form on 'STANDING ORDER FORM' page, print and send it in together with your donation.

Of course we also need all of those unwanted gifts, jewellery, good quality bric'a'brac & clothes to turn into funds and we can usually collect if transport is a problem or you can drop them into our shop.

Last but not least is time. This is probably the most valuable as it can't be bought and all the funds in the world are of little use without the volunteers who help the cats.

If you'd like any information at all contact anyone on the contacts page.
